Celebrating Your Generosity: A Lifesaving Impact

Dear Friends and Supporters,

Thanks to your incredible generosity, we are excited to share that we’ve purchased a 3-wheeler motorcycle—a vital tool now delivering lifesaving clean water to the elderly and disabled in Cotes-de-Fer.

Your support turned a challenge into a solution. This vehicle helps us respond quickly, reach the unreachable, and bring health and dignity to those most in need.

Thank You from the Heart

Your kindness is more than a donation—it’s a lifeline. Because of you:

  • Elders are receiving clean drinking water every week

  • Urgent needs can now be met faster

  • Hope continues to grow in our community

Grateful Beyond Words

We lift our hearts in deep gratitude and prayer for you. Your partnership is a blessing, and your compassion shines as a light in our mission.

Water and Hygiene Kits for Health Education Program

Message from Missy Onoh, Founder/President - September 28, 2023

Dear Supporters and Friends,

It's been three years since we initiated the potable water program for the elderly and disabled in Cotes-de-Fer, Haiti. Today, we stand with deep gratitude and a renewed commitment to our mission, as we reflect on our journey.

Our Impact: Currently, we are providing clean drinking water to 90 elderly individuals, delivering 14,040 jugs, totaling 70,200 gallons of water. Beyond the numbers, this initiative means 312 trips, connecting us intimately with these community members. This effort isn't just about providing water; it's about ensuring no one dies alone, a promise we've made to honor lives and provide companionship.

Our Urgent Need: There are 22 elderly in Cotes-de-Fer on our waiting list. To meet this demand, we need more jugs. Your support can bridge this gap and transform lives.

Our Vision: As we approach 2024, our goal is to expand our services. We aim to add multivitamins to our offerings and extend our reach to another village in the area. Together, village by village, we aim to cover the entire Cotes-de-Fer, driven by the spirit of Matthew 25:35, where every act of kindness matters.

Your Contribution Matters: Your donation can make a tangible difference:

  • $5/month provides water for 1 elderly
  • $30/month offers 3 meals per week for an elderly/handicapped person
  • $20/month covers a weekly nurse visit and bi-annual doctor visit for an elderly or handicap.

Join Our Cause: Hope For A Village is a 501c3 Non-Profit Public Charity. Your donations are tax-deductible. Please follow this link to contribute and be a part of this transformative journey.

A Heartfelt Thank You: We are profoundly grateful for your support. The cargo bike you helped us acquire six months ago has enhanced our efficiency and enabled us to respond promptly to community needs. Your hands are at work, and lives are being changed because of your generosity.

A Call for Transparency: In embracing transparency and vulnerability, we've shared pictures of our beneficiaries in the comments section. Their stories, struggles, and triumphs are a testament to the impact we're making together.

Join us in this mission. Your involvement matters. Together, we are not just changing lives; we are becoming a beacon of hope, compassion, and transformation in Cotes-de-Fer, Haiti.

With gratitude, Missy Onoh Founder/President, Hope for a Village
