At Hope for a Village, we are dedicated to making a lasting impact in Cotes-de-Fer, Haiti, by empowering communities and transforming lives. Our mission is driven by compassion, resilience, and a commitment to creating a better future for the people we serve, most especially the youth in the community. Grandma Martha Hygiene Kits for Girls Project: Providing health education to boys and girls in schools, reusable period pads for girls, and clean water access, ensuring they can attend school with dignity and confidence.
Water for the Elderly and Handicapped: Ensuring access to clean and safe drinking water for the most vulnerable members of our community.
Weekly Nurse Visits: Offering essential healthcare services to the elderly and handicapped, improving their quality of life and overall well-being.
New Sewing Center: Creating jobs for local women by producing hygiene kits, fostering economic independence and sustainability within the community.
Educational Support: Building hand washing stations and sanitary blocks in schools, promoting hygiene and health for students and teachers.
Ongoing Training: Providing continuing education and training for local hospital staff, public health workers, and civil servants to enhance their skills and knowledge.
