Inspired by faith, compassion, and a strong commitment to making a positive impact, our 501(c)(3) non-profit organization is guided by Christian values and operates under the umbrella of New Beginnings Fellowship Church in Hollister, Missouri. Our main goal is to enhance the lives of the residents in the picturesque village of Cotes-de-Fer, Haiti, by being the hands and feet of Jesus. We are inspired by Matthew 25:40 “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.

Through our Grandma Martha Hygiene Kits for Girls program, we recognize that education extends beyond textbooks. Partnering with local schools, we establish a Comprehensive School Health Program aimed at students aged 8-14. This initiative ensures that students receive both educational and health and wellness support necessary for their holistic development, helping them prepare for and be ready before they reach puberty. Our program delivers School Health education to both boys and girls, with a special emphasis on menstrual hygiene and puberty education, ensuring that they are equipped with the knowledge and resources they need as they transition into adolescence.

We offer essential financial training to local women facing adversity, coupled with microloans for business startups. We stand by their side every step of the way, ensuring their success and fostering their independence. As part of this initiative, our team delivers 10 five-gallon jugs of water weekly to local schools in our program, ensuring that students have access to safe and clean drinking water throughout the day. By implementing this initiative, we not only address immediate health concerns but also promote a conducive learning environment. Access to clean water empowers students to focus on their studies without the worry of waterborne illnesses, ultimately fostering a brighter future for the entire community. Through the Clean Water Initiative for Schools, we're paving the way for healthier, more prosperous educational environments, one sip at a time.
We actively collaborate with the local water and sanitation agent to boost our efforts in serving our schools. Our partnership includes regular visits to schools for thorough evaluations of their water and sanitation needs. By closely working with local authorities, we strive to provide sustainable resources for enduring improvements in the school systems of Cotes-de-Fer and surrounding communities.
We firmly believe that every child deserves access to clean water and proper sanitation facilities. With additional funding, we have the capacity to expand and enhance our efforts in the following ways:
- Scaling Clean Water Initiatives: Funding will enable us to implement more clean water projects in underserved communities, reaching a larger number of elderly individuals who lack access to clean and safe drinking water. We can invest in advanced water purification technologies and infrastructure, ensuring sustainability and widespread impact.
- Menstrual Education and Hygiene: Additional resources will allow us to conduct more comprehensive menstrual education programs, providing essential knowledge and sanitary products to elderly individuals and girls in schools. We can organize workshops, distribute hygiene kits, and promote menstrual hygiene practices effectively.
- Health Education in Schools: With funding, we can expand our health education programs in schools, creating curriculum materials, training educators, and reaching a broader student population. This will empower young people with valuable health knowledge, leading to healthier communities in the long run.
- Home Health Care Services: Funding will enable us to establish and operate home health care services for the elderly and vulnerable individuals in need. We can hire trained caregivers, acquire medical equipment, and provide essential medical services, ensuring the well-being of those who cannot access healthcare facilities easily.
- Community Outreach and Partnerships: Additional financial resources will allow us to engage in more extensive outreach efforts, collaborate with local organizations, and build stronger partnerships with government agencies and other stakeholders. This will create a synergistic effect and maximize the impact of our initiatives.
- Monitoring and Evaluation: We will invest in robust monitoring and evaluation systems to track the progress of our programs, measure their effectiveness, and make data-driven improvements. This will ensure accountability and transparency in the use of funds.
